SWOS membership is available to all career grade ophthalmologists working in the South West of England and South Wales. Ophthalmologists in training grades are eligable for Associate Membership.

The South Western Ophthalmological Society is one of the constituent Ophthalmological Societies of the UK. It exists to further clinical, academic and social links between Ophthalmologists in the region.

Members practice in the Departments of Ophthalmology to the specialist, teaching and district general hospitals of the South West of England and South Wales, as well as independently.

The purpose of this website is to provide a resource for SWOS Members and to publicise the academic and social meetings of the Society.
